Although
the advent of no frills airlines has had an impact on ferry
travel, this still remains an important sector of our market
and the new generation of ferries provides a convenient and
cost effective mode of travel to the UK
and Europe.
The staff of Greers Travel Office have a wealth of ferry travel
experience and will be pleased to provide advice as to the
best value and route available for your chosen destination.
Instant price comparisons can be provided which means that
our customers do not have to spend time researching the various
options with individual ferry operators.
Our strong market position means that we are often able to
provide special 'Consort Deals' which offer better value than
brochure or web prices. Also available are excellent value
for money motoring packages including accommodation in a varied
choice of destinations.
GREER'S
TRAVEL IS TOP AGENCY FOR STENA LINE
Greer's Travel has once again
scooped
Stena Line's Travel Agent
of the Year Award for 2004.
The nine staff members of Greer's Travel agency
have a wealth of ferry travel knowledge and their sales of
Stena Line products for 2004 surpassed those of any other
agent, making them Stena Line's Travel agent of the year.
"Stena Line appreciates the tremendous
support that we get from all the travel trade in Northern
Ireland. We would like to congratulate Greer's Travel on a
superb performance last year, which has lead to them being
named as Stena Line's Travel Agent of the Year for 2004,"
said Mervyn McNeilly, Stena Lines Business Development Manager.
"The fact that Greer's Travel has won
this award five times before is a reflection of the agency's
dedication to the ferry industry in Northern Ireland. This
competition has been exceptionally close, but Greer's have
come out on top for another year," concluded Mervyn.
Originally set up as a shipping office, Greer's
Travel in Ballymena has survived two world wars! The present
Limited Company was formed in July 1964 and is still a locally
owned independent travel agency. The existing premises are
to undergo a complete refurbishment and modernisation in 2005,
which will help increase business and maintain Greer's Travel
as one of Northern Ireland's premier travel agencies.
